risk management solutions for Aerospace risks. Inter-Aero’s
capacity is authorized by Arch Insurance Company, a Missouri corporation,
with an AM Best rating of A and Financial Category XV.
Our Underwriting philosophy is founded upon recognized experts
with strong broker relationships who will provide risk management solutions
for all types of Aerospace insurance needs. Inter-Aero is domiciled
in the state of California with its office located in Carpinteria,
Santa Barbara County.
A brief overview of our target markets and areas of expertise are
as follows:
Space: Inter-Aero’s team of professionals
has been a strong presence in the Space market for over 20 years.
Their experience in Space insurance has continued to develop and
provides a high degree of technical understanding, a thorough knowledge
of legal, contractual, and financial elements relating to launch
and satellite procurements, as well as an extensive knowledge of
spacecraft operation while in orbit.
Commercial Aviation: Inter-Aero’s experienced Aviation team underwrites policies for both US and International airlines, Liability for large airports, Ground Handlers, and other Miscellaneous aviation risks. Risks are written on a quota share basis with typical shares being 5% to 10% of the entire risk.
Non-Owned Aircraft Liability: Inter-Aero has an
experienced, specialist team dedicated to Non-Owned Aircraft Liability.
Our professionals can promptly evaluate your risk and provide coverage
solutions for all types of exposures. We provide Non-owned policy
limits up to US$100 million.
General Aviation: Inter-Aero is a worldwide General
Aviation Underwriter that possess the capacity, coverages, and expertise
to meet the needs of the aviation insurance industry. Our mission
is to provide a quality aviation insurance resource to insurance
agents and brokers for their general aviation customer which guarantees
a level of service surpassing that of our competitors. We provide
limits up to US$10 million for Hull and US$100 million for liability.
Cessna Affiliates Program: Inter-Aero is pleased to offer an insurance program for Affiliates of the Cessna Aircraft Company, including Cessna Pilot Centers, Cessna Authorized Service Facilities, CSTARs, and McCauley Propeller Shops. The program began in 2004 and over 200 Affiliates of Cessna currently participate. The program is open to all agents and brokers and we provide limits up to US$10 million for Hull and US$100 million for liability. We also offer Workers' Compensation coverage for all affiliates.
Workers' Compensation: We are pleased to offer Workers' Compensation solutions for aerospace companies through our partnership with Everest National Insurance Company, a major Workers’ Compensation underwriter with an A.M. Best rating of A+ XV, S&P rating of A+ and approximately $1 billion in annual WC premiums. Highly experienced Everest National WC claim personnel supervise all claims. In addition, loss control services are offered to all insureds. Supporting business not required and stand-alone Workers’ Compensation submissions are welcome.
Aviation Claims: General Aviation Claims: Arch Insurance Company (“Arch”) is ultimately responsible for all Aviation Claims. To assist with General Aviation claims, Arch appointed an experienced Third Party Administrator, Providence Washington Insurance Solutions (“PWIS”) to administer and adjust these claims on its behalf.
